University of Connecticut - Waterbury, a regional campus of the UConn system, is located in the heart of downtown Waterbury, Connecticut, and offers small class sizes and close student-faculty interaction. Students can complete the first two years of more than 125 majors here or choose to complete eight four-year degrees in urban and community studies, nursing and more at our campus. The campus features modern academic buildings and libraries, and offers hands-on opportunities such as internships and volunteering, with an emphasis on integrating academics with the community.In 2025, the campus opened the new Neil O'Leary Building, which expands instructional space in the areas of health, humanities, and robotics.
