Overview

Albertus Magnus College, located in New Haven, Connecticut, USA, was founded in 1925 by the Dominican Sisters of St. Mary of the Fountain. Originally a women-only Catholic liberal arts college, it has been co-educational since 1985. In the Dominican tradition, the College emphasizes the four pillars of truth, prayer, fellowship and service, and is committed to fostering students with critical thinking and a sense of social responsibility. Currently, Albertus Magnus College offers more than 50 undergraduate majors and 12 graduate programs in the fields of business, art therapy, education, and psychology. The College is located on a 50-acre campus with modern athletic facilities, including the Cosgrove Marcus Messer Sports Center.
