Westmont College was founded in 1937 and is located in the suburbs of Santa Barbara, California. It is a private Christian liberal arts college that focuses on undergraduate education. The campus covers an area of about 111 acres, with about 1,200 undergraduates, a student-teacher ratio of about 11:1, and more than 98% of the faculty have terminal degrees. All courses are taught by full professors.
