Spokane Community College (SCC), founded in 1963, is located in Spokane, Washington, USA and is a member of the Community Colleges of Spokane system.The campus is located on approximately 148 acres near the Spokane River and features 23 academic and administrative buildings, as well as several branch campuses and adult education centers.The college offers nearly 100 associate degree and vocational certificate programs in health sciences, engineering technology, business, and humanities, with the health sciences program being the largest in the state.Enrollment is open to approximately 9,000-10,000 students, with a student-to-faculty ratio of approximately 12:1, and online and blended delivery.Athletic team “Sasquatch/Bigfoot” participates in the NWA league. The school has a strong focus on practical vocational education and transfer programs, and is an important base for higher education in the Eastern Washington region.
