Overview

Radford University is a public comprehensive university located in Radford, Virginia, USA. It was founded in 1910, transformed into a coeducational school in the 1950s, and upgraded to a university in 1979. The school is located on a beautiful 211-acre campus, close to the New River and the Blue Ridge Mountains, with a quiet and pleasant environment. It has approximately 75 undergraduate majors, 27 master's programs and 6 doctoral programs, covering business, education, health, arts and sciences. The relationship between teachers and students is close and the campus culture is rich - there are more than 200 student clubs and an active NCAA Division I sports team "Highlanders". In addition, the school provides health science clinical education in the Roanoke area through Radford University Carilion, and attaches importance to teaching innovation and community service.
