Overview

Founded in 1883, Florida Southern College is the oldest private comprehensive college in the state of Florida, known for its quality general education and professional programs, with more than 70 undergraduate and graduate programs, a student-to-faculty ratio of approximately 13:1, and a campus facing the lakefront, which is home to the world's largest concentration of the Frank Lloyd Wright Complex and is listed as a National Historic Landmark. With an emphasis on “learning by doing,” the College offers a wealth of opportunities for internships, research, and overseas exchanges, as well as the NCAA Division II Moccasin Snakes athletic program, which is dedicated to developing leaders who will make a difference in society.
