Overview

Norwich University, located in Northfield, Vermont, was founded in 1819. It is the oldest private military college in the United States and is known as the birthplace of the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC). The school combines liberal arts with engineering, business, architecture, cybersecurity and other undergraduate and graduate programs, providing military cadets and ordinary students with two educational modes. The campus life is rich and the student-teacher ratio is about 14:1. Relying on traditional and practical teaching advantages, Norwich attaches importance to leadership, service spirit and outdoor experience, and cultivates innovative talents of "citizen soldiers".
