Merced College is a public community college in Merced, California, founded in 1962. The college offers more than 130 degree and certificate programs in the areas of humanities, business, medicine, and industrial technology, as well as degrees designed for transfer (ADT). In addition, the school has established transfer agreements with four-year universities, including UC Merced, to provide students with opportunities for smooth transition. Merced is located in California's Central Valley, a relatively low cost of living location for international students.
