Overview

Lone Star College (LSC), located in The Woodlands, Texas, is one of the largest institutions of higher education in the Houston area and was founded in 1972. LSC currently has eight campuses, eight centers of excellence in the workforce, five satellite centers, and two university centers, offering more than 100 degree and certificate programs in liberal arts, nursing, business, technology, public safety, and other fields. The school implements an open enrollment policy, supports full-time, part-time, and online learning, and serves traditional students and working adults. LSC pays special attention to providing educational support for international students and has established special international student programs. The school also offers a variety of continuing education and adult education courses to meet the needs of different students.
