Overview

Founded in 1964, Harrisburg Area Community College is Pennsylvania's oldest and largest community college, with its main campus located in Harrisburg.HACC offers more than 100 associate degree, certificate, and diploma programs in fields such as nursing, business, and technology, and supports students in transferring to other colleges or going directly into the workforce. With an open enrollment policy and relatively low tuition, the college serves approximately 20,000 degree-seeking students and thousands of non-credit learners through its five campuses and online programs.HACC is focused on student success and offers academic tutoring, career counseling and a rich student community. Its Harrisburg campus has excellent facilities, including an arts center and a technical training center, reflecting the college's mission to serve the community.
