Founded in 1948 and located in Torrington, Wyoming, Eastern Wyoming College (EWC) is a public community college that offers a variety of academic and vocational programs. The school's main campus covers an area of approximately 68 acres and houses the Agricultural Technical Education Center (ATEC) and the Career Technical Education Center (CTEC), offering majors such as agriculture, veterinary technology, welding, and nursing. In addition, EWC has a branch in Douglas, offering courses such as nursing, gunsmith technology, and interdisciplinary studies. EWC's mission is to promote student success and enrich the communities in the Eastern Wyoming region by providing high-quality education. Adhering to the philosophy that "student success is the top priority", the school is committed to providing students with opportunities to achieve their goals and enriching the region through work, partnerships, and academic achievements.
