Hostos Community College is located in the South Bronx, New York. It was founded in 1968 and is the first two-year public college in the CUNY system named after a Puerto Rican educator. The campus has modern facilities, including a recording studio, an art center and a student counseling team, focusing on 28 associate degree programs such as ESL education, health sciences, business, and game design. The college provides personalized "student success coach" support, as well as continuing education and career training to serve community growth and cultural development.
