California State University, Monterey Bay, referred to as CSUMB, is located in the seaside and Marina, California. It was founded in 1994 and the campus covers an area of about 1,350 acres. The school offers more than 80 undergraduate and graduate majors, covering business, psychology, computer science and other fields. Among its diverse student population, more than half are first-generation college students, emphasizing personalized teaching and practice-oriented learning.
