Brigham Young University–Idaho, referred to as BYU–Idaho, is located in Rexburg, Idaho, USA. It was founded in 1888 and was originally named Bannock Stake Academy. In 2001, the school was upgraded from a two-year college, Ricks College, to a four-year university and changed its name to its current name. BYU–Idaho is affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and is committed to cultivating students' faith, leadership, and social responsibility. BYU–Idaho's mission is to help students become leaders in their families, churches, and society through high-quality education and faith cultivation. The school adheres to the concept of "Rethinking Education" and is committed to providing a valuable educational experience.
