Overview

Boston Architectural College, or BAC for short, was founded in 1889 and is located in the Back Bay area of Boston, Massachusetts, USA. It is the largest private space design school in New England. The school offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in architecture, interior architecture, landscape architecture, and design research, emphasizing a practical education model of "learning while working." In 1971, BAC became the first architecture degree program in the United States to receive professional certification and combine work experience. Its main campus is located at 320 Newbury Street. The architectural style is Brutalist and was designed by Ashley, Myer & Associates. The facade is decorated with classical-style murals created by artist Richard Haas.
